About This Archive
In late 2025, the Becker-Posner Blog was no longer hosted online, and was only available through archives. To avoid this rather cumbersome way of reading their blog, I created this site (with generous assistance from Codex). Rather than attempting to describe the blog myself, I shall defer to the better crafted thoughts of Sebastian Galiani:
The blog was not exactly a debate, nor exactly a collaboration. It was closer to a recurring public seminar between two minds trained in the same intellectual tradition but applying it differently. What makes the archive especially interesting today is that it allows us to see something we rarely observe so clearly in academic writing: how great thinkers reason in real time.
